Product Description

PiTstOP is a project that will create a prediction algorithm for occupancy in public transport services and implement an API that allows easy integration into existing transport provider mobile apps or physical displays. 

For passengers this improves planning of their journeys with information on how busy transport services might be on their preferred route and time. It also provides a level of confidence to concerned passengers to avoid overcrowded services, considering the recent COVID pandemic. For transport operators this will be a useful tool to influence transport users’ behaviour and optimise their transport service usage.
