Data Value Chains
In February 2020, the European Commission announced the European Strategy for Data, aiming at creating a single market for data to be shared and exchanged across sectors efficiently and securely within the EU.
What are Data Spaces
As relevance of data grows every year, the European Commission bet for the development of data spaces, envisioned as of strategic importance for the growth of the European data economy. The aim is to enable and stimulate the development of Data Value Chains, keeping sovereignty and trustworthiness under European premises and values.

The most prominent Data Experts from companies and institutions within the REACH Ecosystem were asked concrete questions about Data Value Chain. A total of 10 Round 2 Experts have been interviewed, in order to better understand the challenges and opportunities within the European Data Sharing Economy.
